Hi "KungFuZhou" and "broderp," as a new member, I'm in the same predicament. Following this thread, it seems that you have to have a minimum of 4 posts and be a member for a minimum number of days (I think it's at least one day) for you to be able to postmark and/or reply to postmarks from "scotched."

Interesting... It just shows "Page Not Found" when I click "start a conversation" below someone's profile. Not sure if this is happening to you as well.
