Au Contraire. It does everything faster, the ramp is much shorter, but it does (on a hybrid) tax your HV battery more if you have it set on a higher setting. Sorry you don't understand the rather simple function of this item.

 

Can you explain the simple function of the item like I'm a twelve-year-old (but kind of a geeky twelve-year-old able to read a Prius wiring diagram and understand the valid ranges of VPA1 and VPA2)?

In terms of ms , how faster could this $dealio$ possibly send 'Full Throttle' from the pedal linear position sensor to the ECM?

You'd never be able to measure it in terms of actual performance.

Find a useful mod to spend you money on.

Never make it your own with little details to your liking or make it perform better.

Always buy OEM and never ever trust or buy from other companies that sell a product that fits your car.

But seriously,,, You will never see any benefit with this expensive doo-dad plugged into the Go Pedal Position Sensor.
Full Go Pedal = Full available engine power. Anything in between is up to your right foot.

Buy yourself some Chrome Pedal Covers. That you can see and be 'proud' of !! The girls will love them!

 

I hate chrome and do not add stuff like that on my prius but do know that the curve can be more fine tuned and controlled than just leaving it to the normal settings it comes with from factory.

Yawn...plain ol vanilla is basic and boring.

 

You realize that 'curve' is something your right foot does all the time?

It's a position sensor.
Your right foot has complete control of the curve....
