Sad to say, 76 year old engineers are nearly unemployable. So I hang out in PriusChat. <GRINS> Bob Wilson
Oh man, that’s a sweet opportunity — sounds like the role was basically made for hybrid vehicle enthusiasts ! bump!
Or a more intelligent focus: How can we work together to head hunt talent to further the future of our aftermarket hybrid battery community?
A prodigy engineering manager who knows everything hundreds of Tesla engineers have developed over decades but does not have to manage anyone.
Perhaps just post a link to the hiring company’s list of openings and corporate phone number. In the 1980s, I regularly got “head hunter” calls interrupting my work and wasting my time. Then I found the antidote: “Thank you for the call but I am fully committed to my project. However, you might call at (number) who is an excellent simulation expert.” These were the layabouts who played computer games instead of writing their crappy code. After a while, no more headhunter calls. Today we have Trojan e-mails and SPAM offers. So I remain skeptical of posts that sound like what is in my junk filtered mailbox. The more enthusiastic the support, the more my suspicions. Bob Wilson
