Hi all, Need to "upgrade" due to my 2010 head gasket issues but have a limited budget. Happy for an older model of the Toyota Prius Prime, mileage under 200k with well kept history which I expect from this forum ;-). Not as interested in the premium style. Thanks for any help!
I don't know the market for Prius in Maryland... But I can tell you on the west coast that early Gen4 Prime 2016-2018 were selling used from a private seller for a few thousand less than $20k at start of the 2020's and now here we are more than half way through the 2020's and those old Primes are selling at $20K or more these days. So in my experience I don't think you're gonna find something for that low of a price unless its a rebuild... Another thing to consider is an older Lexus Hybrid are super affordable because their battery packs are at end of life span and Saltyhybrid.com sells sodium-ion packs for Lexus that run way, way better, as in significant upgrade that would give you reliability and luxury with 2026 hybrid battery performance in your price range.
