My 2008 had a bad battery and it tripped the Anti-Theft sytem when I tried jumping it. I replaced the battery (had it disconnected for at least 30 minutes) and it either stayed in anti-theft mode or it was retripped by a weak key fob battery. I replaced the key fob battery but I still can't get it to reset the anti-theft system. I left the negative battery terminal disconnected for almost 24 hours and it still has the Anti-Theft light in the dash. What other options do I have to reset it that don't involve the TechStream app? Does it need to be disconnected for longer than 24 hours? Is it not the Anti-Theft system? Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have the key button under your steering wheel or is there just the tire button do you have a black rubber square button on driver door and trunk? If you put the remote in the slot doesn't the red stop ?

I do have the "Key" button for the Smart Key system. I have black rubber botton on the driver door and trunk, and when I put the remote in the slot nothing changes. The remote works to unlock and lock the doors.

Normally, after a battery disconnect, you put the fob in the key slot, then start the car. You might have to press the Power button a second time (with your foot on the brake) to get the car into READY. If this doesn't work, post your trouble codes.

The flashing key lamp is normal when the car is off.

This is the SKS-disable switch and needs to be in the 'out' position. Out means the SKS-disable function is off. Press the button to the 'in' position to disable SKS.

Check that this button is in the out position.
