My passengers are indicating that there is a noise, which indicates the right rear bearing assembly needs to be replaced.

    1) What is the decision process / inputs to decide between OEM ($180- $440) vs aftermarket ($60 eBay/ AMZN)?

    2) If buying OEM through eBay, what is the litmus test to verify it is truly OEM?

42450-47040 TOYOTA GENUINE PRUIS 2010-15 HUB & BEARING ASSY, REAR AXLE, RH or LH | eBay

    3) If buying online from a Toyota parts center, the incremental cost is approximately $100 over eBay.
If you have replaced said assembly, what was your experience? Please indicate if you bought OEM, where you bought it from and the cost. If you were faced with the decision again, would you do it differently?

Would you trust parts from a supplier who can't spell PRIUS correctly?

They did not spell Prius theys home did .over 40 beRo vs installed all hep stuff except back in the 80 90 wen I could buy Toyoda as cheap as I buy trq etc long time ago employed by Toyoda I paid nothing just the way it used to be . The last twenty installed brands you can ot spell so Viola. I've received no failure calls about any bearings hubs so far .so I keep using shiet I cannot spell. No matter antique status in a few years he he he.

Stay away from trq! They are crap!
Timken or Moog(made in America) are good.
