The knife Cuts both ways. Some died "with" covid & covid was blamed for the death when it was some other underlying medical issue. So, is the glass half empty? Or half full. The thing redeeming about the early disease is the deaths were most often those with comorbidities. Diabetes, lung issues, weekend immune systems , morbidly obese, old age Etc.
Dad (during pandemic) was near 97 when he died of "natural causes" - ie something or things at that advanced age wears out or gets corrupted. "If" he contracted the China virus at that time - (he didn't) it might have put him out of his misery prior to one of the other dynamics going on in his failing body. Then, as doctors would do during that period, they would have labeled it another covid death. We LOVE bigger numbers. Makes for better drama. So stupid.
