The thing redeeming about the early disease is the deaths were most often those with comorbidities. Diabetes, lung issues, weekend immune systems , morbidly obese, old age Etc.
Dad (during pandemic) was near 97 when he died of "natural causes" - ie something or things at that advanced age wears out or gets corrupted. "If" he contracted the China virus at that time - (he didn't) it might have put him out of his misery prior to one of the other dynamics going on in his failing body.
