This is my 3rd Prius. My plan was to replace it next year but it needed $4k in repairs and they offered me a deal.

I've mostly been running it on electrons so far and I've moved the running miles per kHr has moved from the 2.4 that it started at to just hitting 4 today. Is that a good number or should I keep hoping for better.

It's definitely fun to be over 200 miles and still have a completely full tank with Seattle gas prices.

Don't know what car your talking about - Prius are hybrids NOT a full EV. The Prius PHEV is a plug-in that runs in either HV or EV modes. You've posted in the gen5 Prius forum; if your car isn't a Prius - Your in the wrong forum. Ask administrator to move post to the correct forum.

Placing your car in your profile would be helpful.;)

Prius plug in Nightshade. I've mainly been driving under 20 miles a day so it's mostly been in electric mode.

I used EV to differentiate from the pure hybrids I've owned before.

You should have a 38 mile range on that battery. 4 miles/KwH is about average. It'll increase as it gets warmer and decrease as it gets colder. My gen4 is averaging the same; but I'm lighter and have a smaller battery than you. Summer with light AC usage gets up to 4.8 miles/KwH; but I've also seen outliers too. It's reported 25-30 miles/KwH going up and coming back from South Lake Tahoe in the same day; several times already - over the years.
Make sure you exercise the engine every month or two. Let it get all the way up to full operating temperatures to lube and burn-out contaminates. I manually flip mine into HV mode whenever I'm on the highway for more than 15 minutes. This guarantees the engine will get up to full operating temperatures and gets a good workout; keeping all the cars' systems fully operational.
