Very impressed with Lucid Gravity designs. Pricey but very nice. With adjustable suspensions for off-roading. If only they have solid states, lfp or sodum ions. Still on lithium ions.

Still haven't seen a tree or rock with a L2 socket you can plug into.... Your trip would be limited to half the distance of the nearest L2 charger, or spend the night at a L1 socket to get you back to a L2 charger. Off-roading; really messes with the range estimates because of the varying terrain and power requirements to get through them.

Hey, that cargo space alone can probably hold up to 5 kilowatts of solar!!

    Aren't Lucid's EV only?

Before people start chiming in that gas car are limited by distance from the gas station; there's something called "jerry cans"; no offense to jerry.

and how many miles/Kwh are you averaging on it and the assumption is that your going to get 100% output in the winter? There's a big difference between real world and theoretical. YouTube is littered with click-bait like that.

That's nice - Kinda crowds out any room for emergency- and recovery- gear.
Again; assuming perfect 100% output without losses; how far is that 3Kw generated in an hour going to get you? Hopefully your not too far off the beaten path and have enough water to walk-out for a rescue.

This kinda reminds me of that Bubba joke - What's the last thing that person said to you before they died? Hey; watch this......

that's pretty cool, is it grid tied? I've thought about panels in the back yard, but idk how to use the output. I don't really want a battery storage system
I did see an interesting mini split, solar panel package.

That's meant for off-grid. But a lot of people are installing solar plugins with micro inverters and no permit required to lower their power bills.

Keep in mind. Starlink in "stand by mode" only costs $7/month. You can still get internet for that price but in slower connections.

As long as you can get an SOS out. I prefer the Garmin inReach; most people don't venture out into desolation - only to hook back up to the internet. No setup or pointing; just turn it on and get out from under cover.
