Help plug identity.

    There is a wire harness with no home in the engine bay. Passenger side near the washer fluid fill. I am thinking it might be for a feature on a different model. 2012 model two.

    It helps a lot if you can get a pic showing the wire colors going to it.

    Is the plug for the washer fluid reservoir plugged in?

    I would assume so as the washer works.

    The wire is taped up with electrical tape in three spots against itself in a U shape. one is right at the clip, halfway-ish and the other is closer to the U. If it was untapped it would reach to the hood lock mechanism. The tape looks installed better than anything I would have done during head gasket replace to keep it out of the way. All the lights work and there are no codes present.

    Just two wires, red and black/white.
