    I don't remember how much the premium dropped when our last was finally off of the policy, but it was shocking, iirc.

    That would do it. There’s a massive penalty on drivers under 25. Glad she’s able to pay toward it!

    We had a Chevy Suburban when I was a kid.

    But I was talking about suburbs, the kind of place you live where your only option to go to work, school, store, etc. is by means of a motorized vehicle of some sort, unlike all cultures from before the 1950's where work, school and groceries were within short to moderate walking distances.
