I hurt just reading this and looking at the videos!:whistle:
I'm glad you were able to do it though. I know it wasn't fun.
I've seen that plastic piece before, just can't remember where it goes. I'm fairly certain it to collect
    the cables and hoses though.

Have you driven the car? Or are you still putting it back together?
Those spring should be tight. If you can move them, that's an issue.

I had planned on replacing my engine, and would have put a new plate in.
But since I'm only driving about 10% of what I had been driving, I've kinda decided against it.
"IF" if fails, then I will replace it. I've also though about just doing the short block. But it's a lot
of work I no longer have the desire or willingness to do.

Please let us know how thing work out.

    Thanks for the info Mendel.
The cover is now on its' place.
The torque spec is 30 nm according to the manual on your signature.
A torque wrench wasn' t fitting in there, I just tightened it as far as I could, there was no thread lock on the original.
The manual states also to pay attention of fitting it on the right side.
What confused me is the fact that the 2010 damper is fitted with 3 protruding shapes in the flywheel groves, while the in the 2014 the 3 protruding shapes do not fit in the flywheel groves so they must be seated on the contray, At least this is my inderstanding.

I'm driving it since this morning, so far so good.

The only thing is the first time I have started it I got a check hybrid system error on the dash and dtc p3190, but that was caused by a diaconnected oil catch can hose, last nigth there was a thunderstorm and the car was on the drive way so I quicly dumped everything in the engine bay and forgot about it

I can confirm I could move the old springs by hand, it is idling much quieter now and I can sleep much better at night now

Regarding the black cover Meldel figured out its a cover of the inspection of the flywheel
I'm driving it since this morning, I could move the old springs so I' m glad it' s out.

Now it's idling nice and quiet and I can sleep much better at night.

The first time I started it I got a check hybrid system and dtc p3190, then I figured out I forgot to connect one of the 2 hoses going to the oil catch can‍

Last nigjt there was a thunderstorm and before it started raining I dumped everything quicly in the engine bay since the car was on the drive way.

I learned it's a bad idea to work on engines in the dark, but on the other hand I wanted to get it done before the next day.

Mendel figured out the black plastic came off the upper flywheel inspection gate, now it's back in it's place.

Been there done that! Ya just want to get it done.
The issue here in Florida is the bugs come out at night!

Glad it's all back together and working!
