Hi everyone. Please are there any documentations, or technical articles out there, on DIY CNG conversions for Toyota or other brands hybrids vehicles available? I have been wondering if anyone has converted their hybrid/plug-in gasoline vehicles to CNG assisted ones. Please if you have, or got any article I can read from, do share. Dxta
Why would you want to convert a Prius to CNG or LNG? CNG and LNG conversions are done for cars that get 20 mpg on gasoline.
some people in Europe have done it. there were a few threads here, if you can find them. idk how much technical help they'll provide, most geniuses keep it pretty close to the vest
I've seen it on Prius once, maybe twice thanks to stuff online... But you're going to have to figure out the changes you'll need to do because I've never seen a how to convert your Prius to propane tutorial.
LPG conversions were popular in Europe during the days of high gasoline taxes, but these days they are seldom seen because they are dangerous and problematic.
