I was very pleased with our Hybrid Heat Pump Hot Water Heater impact on our electric bill.
Because of that we bought a Heat Pump Clothes Dryer - I was not prepared for the impact that made on our Utility Bill in the winter- the fact that the Heat Pump Dryer is ventless and not exhausting conditioned air to the atmosphere outside the home and then pulling unconditioned air into the home that must be conditioned is a energy saving game changer.

The job creators are the customers. The middle class mainly is the creator of jobs, not business owners. When the people have money to spend, jobs are created. More jobs, more people spending their wages, makes more jobs.

It isn't just what people spend: even when they save, lots of people are using stocks for their long-term savings, which is another way of supplying the capital the business owners build their businesses with.

This kind of misunderstanding never seems to crop up about cars. You won't read that What drives a car are the wheels, not the engine. When the wheels turn, the car goes. Yet, one can read with some frequency that supply side stimulus is not real, because demand drives an ecomony.

A working economy allows middle class people to run business and hire workers to make items or provide services to the benefit of the business, the people it employs and the customers served.

People bringing better goods and services to market at lowers prices typically keep supply up enough that prices stay reasonable and most of us can get what we need. Recent experience with toilet paper and eggs show how important the efficiency of those mechanisms can be to us. Without that supply system, it doesn't really matter whether people have currency. A suitcase full of currency in the Soviet Union in the 1950s couldn't buy you a new 8 cylinder sedan because there weren't any for ordinary people to buy.

Demand side stimulus is real, however it isn't the only real phenomenon.

It still boils down to the customer. Businesses aren’t built and last without customers. I would say the claim businesses create jobs is a lie. If you have a lemonade stand you won last long without customers. Businesses need to hire people when there are more customers. It’s a lie promoted by businesses so long, that they are the job creators, people believe it.

Please explain to me when/how a company issuing stock ever sees another $, AFTER the IPO, when the stock openly trades on the free market. Please don't use stock buy-backs as your example. Thank You.

Your cavil seems to be that only the initial buyers deserve credit for whatever capital the company was able to raise.

Very well. How much would those shares have raised had the initial buyers had no expectation of a secondary market?

    IPO: 100 Shares

    All 100 Shares SOLD.

What now ... from the "secondary market" ... goes to the Company?!?

Does TOYOTA get any $$$ back when USED CARS are resold?!?

The I is for 'initial' to differentiate it from subsequent sets of shares that may be offered for sale. Once they're into the game, there are many ways to play.

Even when they do that IPO and sell "100 shares" they (probably) already defined many other shares that were not sold to the public. If the price of the 100 they did sell goes up, they may be able to get a bigger & easier loan against the value of unsold shares, and then use that credit for whatever they like.

At some point they may decide to sell more, at the risk of diluting the value of those already on the market.

Again: how many $$$ could they have got for their NEW CARS, if there weren't a functioning market for used ones?

My point ... very simple ... is after the company sells all its original shares ... the secondary market doesn't really make them any more $$$.

Plenty of people don't have the money for a new Toyota but they do have the money to take an old one to a dealer for pre-purchase inspection, and sometimes also for some repair and maintenance work afterwards.

Or they buy things at the parts counter.

Those are ways old used Toyotas earn the mothership some revenue.

What about that percentage of people that don't have the $$$ to get gouged, and at the same time don't have any rags up their derriere about having to spend the $$$ that they have on OEM parts in Toyota boxes that are still made by other companies?!?

As an example ... the poor stiff that may need a new gas-cap. At Toyota the parts guy sells him one for $37. He goes home and looks it up from RockAuto ... SURPRISE!!! ... $8. It meets all OEM standards but doesn't give Toyota any $$$ back.

Gasbuddy says the spread is $5.29-6.79 for regular in my local area map. It’s funny but there are always people getting gas in those highest price stations too.

Back to the job creators, lets be clear I am not talking about anything complicated, but who creates the jobs, because repubs drum beat it’s the businesses, because they want people to accept a tax cut for the rich. The customers create the jobs, The stock market is another place for customers to buy something. No customers, no business. Inside traders like 47 will take all your money and dump you by the side of the road if he could. They did throw us some extra money with increased standard deductions and some other things. Those are a chicken in every pot, while they take the big bucks. Trillionaire, it’s unbelievable. Still not enough for the one who reached it. A million times millionaire. He does not love us and is not thinking of how many he can help with jobs.
    Just thoughts.

My point, equally simple, is if it weren't for the secondary market, the company wouldn't have been able to sell those original shares at anywhere near the same price in the first place. Buyers with no prospect of selling just would not have offered remotely the same money.
