Prii is not, technically accurate, but much more widely accepted by us mere mortals.

A group of Prii can quaintly be called a "pride of prii".

    Probably both are correct.

And I go with a "pride of Prii".

I'm thinking we here who are in the know, say Prii, while outsiders say Priuses.

given the liveliness of Fred's discussions, I would go with:

    A Consternation of Prii

Makes sense to me. After all radii is the plural of radius.

The word from Toyota is that the plural of Prius is Prius. Just one of those words that can be both singular and plural. I still prefer Prii.

I've gone back and forth on this. What's finally made my decision is realizing that the purpose of communication is to ... well, communicate. For that, "Priuses" wins, especially for the masses. I may use "Prii" in writing here, but the word still doesn't sound quite right. A sentence using the plural "Prius" also seems awkward, written or verbal. IMHO.

since Prius is not a term denoting a number or singularity, i would have to go for Priuses. but hey... if you are happy with whatever term you use, that is all that counts anyway.
