How Do You Carry Your Guns

Small arms just don't cut it in today's urban traffic jungle, so I don't waste space with handguns. I usually stow eight AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles (available at cost from B-52 parting out sales at recently closed AFBs) in the quarter panels just behind the wheels, 2 per quarter panel for total protection from threats from any direction, vehicular or pedestrian.

Since bad weather can cause unexpected flooding, I also keep four MK-44 torpedos (from a Navy surplus sale) in the center console should the Prius get temporarily stranded in fast rising water and need protection from al Qaeda operatives in scuba gear taking advantage of the natural confusion of such a situation to threaten motorists. One can never be too careful.

Mounting the five inch naval gun and its rotatable turret without compromising the Prius's aerodynamic (and stylish) lines presented an engineering challenge to my mechanics, but they finally got it installed neatly by locating the bulky motor-drive in the upper glovebox. Annoying tailgating has dropped off markedly once I took to stowing the gun's barrel pointed aft.

I think the smallest piece of weapons ordnance in the car is the grenade launcher I keep under the seat.

Anyone else out there got their Prius as well protected?

While it was an engineering challenge, I did manage to build a particle beam weapon that runs off of the batteries. Yesterday I disintegrated a Hummer that was tailgating me.

well a PSE bow with silencers and since I worked at McDonell Douglas a while back long time back, always carry a SLAM (Stand off Land Attack Missile) mounted on the carrier platform on the rear trailer hitch.
If thaqt fails go with the Harpoon Missile.
otherwise saturday night special tucked away in the boot for that up close meeting you might have! B)

 

You know, I was just gonna keep this one to myself, but now I'm glad to see fellow Prius drivers packin'.

I have a grille-mounted rocket launcher, just in case some angry Hummer driver cuts me off. If that's not enough, I switch out to the M61A1 Vulcan cannon I have mounted between the driver and passenger seats. When an angry F-350 driver starts tailgating me, I've got a rear-mounted C4 plastic explosive launcher - concealed behind the license plate. It automatically attaches a detonator to the charge, plasters it on the grille of the offending truck, and detonates it, all in a span of 3 seconds!

If an angry liberal tries to sideswipe my Prius because it's not American, I've got side-mounted flamethrowers to roast their tires into a liquid goo.
When Neocons try attacking me from their helicopters, my Navy surplus CIWS does my light work. And if anyone gets up close and personal, I've got my very own Trunk monkey. h34r:

Fuel rod guns where the fog lamps would go, plasma rifle in the center console, plasma pistol in the glove box, flamethrower under the shark fin, anti aircraft/H2 rocket launchers in the door panels (must be stopped to operate), 14.5 mm armor-piercing sniper rifle and 8 gauge shotgun under the trunk. Assorted magnetic plasma and M9 combat grenades kept in the door slots for close range engagement. DONTFWME license plate awaiting govt. clearance.

Kill stickers on door; 2 H3s, 1 H2, 6 Suberbans (Sub-humans) and 12 Escalades.

On the hunt for Envoys. (what car mfg in their right mind would call a vehicle an Envoy) - the Envy of the neighborhood, geez.

I just love all the room the glove box gives me in the Prius. I particularly like the way it quickly glides open to present me with the .40 cal ready to grasp.

Ok I have seen the fancy coat hangers that attach to the headrests. Has anyone found a suitable gun rack that might mount the same way but across both the driver and passenger seats?

I just don't like folding the seats down to transport long arms and it places them out of easy reach.

Just think, a nice Mossberg Persuader crotched in the velveteen holders behind my headrest....sweet!

I removed the CIWS from my Prius. I was concerned about the depleted uranium.

 

But...I thought...that's how we showed our concern for the environment! I thought throwing rounds made of depleted uranium was the way to go .

On the other hand, now you've got room for your flechette-launching rail gun system

By the way, has anyone tried using the hatch-mounted assault rifle rack system?

See, that's why I didn't post on this thread yet. Because I knew there was someone (or several) out there who actually were packing in their prius, and that to me is very sad. So I didn't find the whole thing funny at all...sorry, guess the fact that most shootings happen between people who know each other or by accident makes this an unfunny topic to me.

There are a few things in this world that must be drilled until they are second nature. The criteria for drawing a gun are among them, if you are going to carry.
