So how can I reset the "Maintenance Req." light on the dashboard? I've just had an oil change and the light still flashes when I start my car. Thanks!!!

I didn't double check this link, but found it in a thread on this topic.

Another option, if at the Toyota dealer, is to ask them to reset it (my dealer no longer needs to be prompted, but they did at first).

    Go to:

    http://john1701a.com/prius/prius-userguide.htm

Download the pdf, which has a lot of great info and go to page 25 for instructions on how to reset the maintenance light.

    Good luck!

You could also try reading the fm. All the information you need to reset the maintenance light is in there.
    Try doing this:
Press start button until car turns the ignition on
Make sure the odometer displays "ODO" NOT TRIP
Press and hold the ODO trip reset button in
press start button until car turns off
press start button until car turns back to ON
Hold the ODO button in until all the flashing lines on the odometer go away and the mileage returns and the maint reset light stops flashing
    Your'e done.

Snooty answers don't help. I just spent 15 minutes in a very cold garage, searching through the manuals for a simple answer.

On my 2004 I hold the ODO button while pressing the power button twice. Keep holding ODO button until the dashes in the mileage display disappear.

That's worked the last 3 oil changes.

I just followed jqmello's post and it worked on my 2006. Did it with the foot off the brake.
Very slick. Thanks for the info.
