This is a variation on Prius Poker. You keep track of the next 5 Prii you see. All the same color (never happened) is a Flush. Four of a kind beats one of each color, which is a Straight. Then three of a kind.

Lessee. Where does a Full House (3 and 2) come in?

Have had several Straights, and maybe a triple. Nothing higher. Maybe a triple should beat a Straight.

 

I work on the same street where Southeast Toyota Headquarters is located in Deerfield Beach Florida. I get to see all the Prius and Toyota and Lexus cars and colors every day.

Lucky me!

 

Today I saw a silver (obviously), white, gold, another silver and a black. All on my way to work or at my office. I saw a blue while I was working.

I rarely see enough Prii on a daily basis to even make a full 5-card hand. Besides, they are usually the same colour... silver. <_<

 

I play a slightly different game...

When waiting at a light, how many other Prii do I see?

The other day, there was a salsa red in front of me, a gold one passed me on the right as a white one went through the intersection... For a brief moment, 4 out of 5 cars at that intersection were all Prii ! lol

Ya know what? That's exactly what it was. Given how rare Prii are around here (and they are usually silver), I had never seen Driftwood in person, only on the web. I had thought it was more of a "metallic beige" colour...

And wouldn't you know it, not 2 hours later as I was driving home, what do I see but a Driftwood Prius with NY plates on highway 403 not far from my house... :lol: Now I can see why some would describe it as 'gold'. And BTW, it is not a case of "not noticing", as I always try to spot Prii wherever I go, to the point of driving my wife mad. :lol:

Funny how things work out like that...

 

We now have two red Prii in the parking lot at work (including mine and I don't know who drives the other one. They get there much earlier than I do, so it's probably a nurse or clinician and they snag a great parking spot every day. Also, the Coke vendor's representative drives a white Prius with a big red Coca Cola logo tattood on the door. Does that make 3 of a Kind?

Now the trick question is... did you see both shades of silver colors?

 

What do you count when you see Prii painted in non-Toyota colours?

In my current round world trip, I have seen a Prius painted saftey yellow on Hong Kong Airport and a Prius painted the worst green colour you could imagine in London. I think it was painted for some council use, but it sure was an ugly green.

Now there is a PhotoShop opportunity - jousting Prii, drivers in full tournament armor leaning out the window with lances.
