She has to. I figure if she grants drivers licenses to 38 million illegal aliens the rate of fuel consumption in the US will skyrocket :D

But then again, she did not answer that question the other night - she left the door open to swing either way - i guess depending on the polling - HINT Hillary - the overwhelming clear majority of Americans - real American citizens are opposed to it - 70-80%!

also, note to Hilary .... if you dont release your white house papers and correspondence soon you are going to drop further in the Polls and Mike is going to enter - game over.

    dbermanmd,

    Get your facts straight.

    http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/13474.html

It is up to the National Archives to release those papers, not Sen. Clinton. There is no requirement to release those papers prior to 2012, but Former President Clinton already sent a letter to the National Archives five years ago requesting that they expedite release of his papers.

She has to figure out some way to save everyone some money so we can afford the $106 billion 'Free' health care.

    What a joke

By 2050, I am going to run for President and not allow any dinosaur oil powered cars to be sold.
See, I promised and so it will be true.

Hillary is not going to be around in 2030 to care in politics, so she can promise anything.... See Bob Lutz and GM.

Too low. With carbon fiber bodies and PHEV, fuel economy or the equivalent should be at 100 to 150 mpg, plus a major effort at Inter- and Intra-state light and heavy rail transportation.

2030???????? There won't be any fossil fuel left by 2030.

You wanna make a difference? Ration gas now. Give every driver a ration card for two gallons of gas per week. Then watch sales of Priuses and EVs soar!

By then the economy will be so bad that Americans will take whatever job is available at whatever wage - the cascade effect will be enormous as the 38 million illegal aliens here in the US currently occupying jobs Americans were once unwilling to do will be forced out of work and will need to head back to their countries. However, do to the high cost and shortage of gasoline they will be unable to get back to their native lands leaving the US in a true conundrum. Eventually Americans will be crossing the Mexican and Canadian borders looking for gainful employment and cheap gasoline and decent health care.

If you guys ever get universal health care like every other developed country, you will never go back. It's sad how so many of you suffer unnecessarily.

truth is look at our cancer survival rates and then decide where you want to get treated. same is true for cardiac disease, etc. And the gap will continue to widen.

in a way you are so correct, if the US adopts a universal care system we will never go back ... or forward - just sideways at best.

also, where will the Canadians go for their health care, and the 70,000 Brits who leave england every year for health care... and so on and so on.

I dont want the government doing anything for me that involves my health and decisions related to it. it cant even deliver the mail...

If Canada's health care system is so great, why do so many Canadians come to the U.S. for treatement??? (Maybe it is because you could die before you get the treatment you need.)

    Regards,

    Keith

And why do so many Americans go to Mexico for treatment? Why do Cuban's get better health care than many of the fallen heroes of 911?

The number of Canadians going to America for treatment is quite small. Sure it's not zero, but nice try though.

Yea, on the honor plan. I'm sure people who have entered this country illegally, driven illegally, worked illegally, watched the last 6 years of US politics run by dishonest psychopaths, and can't read english will be happy to honor the 'have driver's license, but won't vote' system.

I would be content if all the streetlights were synchronized so drivers could coast at a leisurely pace.
That alone would save a lot of petrol.

When She, or anyone else throws out "Flex-Fuel" as an alternative, they just threw out all possibility of being knowledgable or credable about the world's crisis / running out of fossil fuel ... or, they are on the take with big oil. Using fossel fuel to create grain/plant/alcohol fuel is as wasteful as using natural gas or electricity to create hydrogen. It's a huge loss, and we don't have any more fossel fuel to waste.
