    Hello All,

I was wondering if any of you have replaced the glovebox light and if you can give me any hint on

    1. How to get to the bulb without removing too many parts
    2. What size the is the bulb - I hate the ugly amber color, i want to replace it with a white bulb.

There was a knowledge base article, but the link is broken now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Regards,

    Stephen

I'm pretty sure there is no light for the upper box...only the lower one.

Maybe if you put a really bright LED in the bottom box...

As Evan says, there is no light in the upper box.

It's an LED bulb and it shouldn't burn out...are you still under warranty?
I'll have to leave it to someone else to tell you what bulb you need to replace it with.

And the reason it stays on all the time is because s switch would be more likely to break than the blub burning out?

yep and probably the LED bulb is cheaper than a incandescent + switch and the LED uses less power.
