Quick - What's your MPG read right now?

To Reset, or Not To Reset, that is The Question. I often reset each trip, so that I can tell how well I am doing on my commute. If you have a ScanGauge, you have another recorder to use if you can get it calibrated (so far I can get to about 10% accuracy, no better).

For lifetime MPG, keep a record. CleanMPG.com and GreenHybrid.com both offer easy ways to keep track. Plus, you can get one of these cool window thingies to put in your sig file.

on my 2008 black prius with 650 total miles;

47.5 mpg

it's been cold this week indiana; single digits one morning. hi's in the lo 30's.

early in the week after filling up, my number was 52.5 mpg after my first round trip to work and back (50 miles).

It was 62mpg at 104 miles last week, but I assume a week of town driving has brought it down somewhat. (I can get into the low 60s on the motorway, but town driving brings it down to 50 or so rather quickly.)

Last time I posted, it said 32.5 or something. I don't need to explain why; you guys know what you have to do to a Prius to make it get mileage that bad.

I rented a Prius for the weekend and drove it for about 250 miles. It was the first time ever driving a hybrid and it did 48.5 MPG. Temps were in the 30s. I'm definitely buying one soon.

Mine was fluctuating between 50.9 and 51.0 on the way to work this morning.

51.3 MPG on 220 miles. Current Mileage 102,880.

 

Only 1/3 into this tank......Should be over 60 by the end. Consistent for 15,000 miles now. And I can tell you how much gas it'll take at fill-up too.
