46.4 mpg. 421 miles. Took 9 gallons and I couldn't top off. I could add 2-3 more gallons to my old car. Weather was a low of 15° and a high of around 45° with a little snow and rain and wind. What a poor time of the year to get a new car. Just couldn't wait until spring. I'm very happy with the car. At 6'2" 225# I even fit better than I thought I would. Happy Holidays & Merry Motoring to All!

Topping off damages emissions systems in most cars, since you end up filling up dry sections (like the charcoal canister) with fuel.

Glad you enjoyed your first tank. Just wait until you and the Prius are broken in. MPG gets even better.

Congrats on the new ride. Awesome mpg.

Try not to overfill your tank. As soon as the pump auto releases, that's it. Better be safe than sorry.

Yeah, but being sorry is so much fun!
