I heard on the internet that the drive-by-wire system will malfunction and cause the car to accelerate to over 100 mph and you can't stop it until it runs out of fuel.

 

It's very well known that the Prius is a menace to people who are hard of hearing... all Prii have dents on the front from where the driver mowed down Grandpa.

 

Grandma may have got runover by a reindeer, but Grandpa got it by a Prius.

 

If Prius drivers really cared about the environment they'd all be driving Hummers which actually purify the air and repair the hole in the ozone layer as they're being driven.

 

Prius drivers should have just bought a USED old car because the cost and environmental damage of making new cars is worse than if you drive an old beat up car, even if it blows smoke out!

It is silly to drive a car with good gas mileage. That'll just leave more gas for the SUV drivers. So if you want more full-size SUVs on the road, then go ahead... buy a Prius.

It doesn't have enough power to get out of its own way. I like to drive at least 75mph, so this will never work.

 

Prius owners are too DUMB to know that the cost of electricity when they plug them in every night to recharge them ends up costing them more than they save on gas. Plus the battery has to be replaced every five years and costs $8000.

 

Heck, if you are lucky to replace the battery and don't die when you get rear ended and the battery blows up the car real good.

These electric car Prius things are a menace on the highway, they won't go any faster than 40 miles an hour and that is down hill with a stiff breeze up their clacker. There are crashes all the time near my house, right behind the trailer park where trucks crash because they are passing a Prius.

You are stupid to have a hybrid, diesels use less gas and make less ozone anyway, and they don't have to pay the hybrid premium.

I have an 8 litre Chrysler Royal what does 190 miles an hour, if I run over one of them mobile speed bumps you hippies drive I hardly notice it.

 

In order to make every Prius, they have to clear cut nearly 1000 acres of pristine Amazon rain forest.

You can't get the EPA mileage in a Prius.

and those electric motors require all kinds of extra maintenance.

What about the radiation from the electric motors causing cancer? And the radiation will probably be linked to birth defects as well.
