Well, I ordered my first mod today.

I got a Dashtoppers Sedona Suede blk. mat for my dashboard.

    Price was $79.90 after tax.

I will tell you what I think about it, and take some pics when it comes in!

I was kind of up in the air about the Sedona Suede, but I think it will look good (i hope).

The reason i picked this for my first mod is the fact that the dash looks like it can get scratched very easy, and i have my radar and nav. up there.

Anyone got the Sedona Suede already? Got pics? The pic on their site is not very good.

I don't have one, but I'd like to see a pic when you do have it installed. I actually think the opposite - I think the dash would be very durable...

I have it in blue, but here's a picture of what mine looks like.

BTW, I understand that if you buy directly from DashToppers you can have them customize by extending the area over the MFD to act as a sun shade.

Ya, I think your car is the one I saw with this when I was searching through all the topics for things. Yours is a carpet one?

I knew about the extention for the MFD, but I did not think it would look good imo.

Does it muffle the road sound any?? if its carpet, is seems like it may help eliiminate some of the sound and make the car quieter, somewhat,....:D

Are there non-carpet versions? Could you provide a link?

I would be interested in an extension that would cover the metallic plastic part of the side vents - in certain lighting conditions, the metallic plastic parts cause a real nasty glare/reflection on the side windows that interferes with parallel parking. Removing/reducing the glare would be reason enough for me to buy the product.

It is the carpet version. I had already gotten a sunshade for the MFD so I didn't need an extension. Plus I got it from a Toyota dealer and not from them directly.

Heh. Actually it does help with sound, in a way. There is no opening for the center speaker so it muffles the output. It's not as good as disconnecting the speaker, but it helps. Plus if you want to mount something small there, you can use velcro.

Dashtopper.com - The World's Finest Dashboard cover is the link to Dashtopper. You can also get it in velour or suede.
