We don't know if it's based on the FT-SX.

Have you seen the Mark X Zio? It might be based on that (which I think is based on the FT-SX but I'm not sure).

All we know is that it'll be like a Camry wagon in terms of placement in the lineup but will NOT be a Camry wagon (if that makes sense).

Then again, isn't the Highlander the "Camry Wagon" anyway?

bigger Tundra, FJ Cruiser, bigger Sequoia, bigger Land Cruiser, bigger Rav4, bigger Highlander, and now this. Moving Forward? Yup, right into fossil fuel depletion.

    At least it's not a 7-passenger SUV.

Don't quite understand the point since isn't that what the Highlander is for? The crossover SUV?

I however see Camry like for the frontend with Acura design for the backend.

My thoughts exactly. What about those of us with 4 children or chldren with grandparents? What happened to the goal having a hybrid available in every model? I was looking forward to the unveiling and hoping for something much better than this. I think the car looks nice but it's not on my list of must haves, that's for sure. -Very disappointing.

It's funny. People don't buy station wagons anymore. But they do buy "crossovers."
