New Prius in Southwestern France

    Yikes...after looking over several threads, I wonder if someone who bought a Prius in France is welcome....
    Anyway, we just bought a 2008 Prius and will take delivery next Saturday. I am very excited, have wanted one for years...but couldn't justify a new car until the old one "retired" (1989 Volvo Station Wagon...practically a member of the family) We don't buy cars...we adopt them!!! Can't wait to welcome our new car...and look forward to any help or advice.

    I don't see any indication a French owner wouldn't be welcome.

    hey there, another noob from France's southwest...
    I'll have the prius in a week, I can't wait to compare it with my former french car ( my guess is no contest... )

    Thanks to all for the welcome! I haven't compared what we paid with prices in the States! ( Don't tell me!!!!) I think it might be a little more expensive than some French cars the same size but then...a hybrid and a Toyota!!! So worth it. And it came standard with things that have to be added on to the French packages.

    I also think my husband wants me happy ;) so I really didn't get involved in the whole price thing.

    I can't wait until Saturday when we pick it up. A bientot!
