Hi all! I am the soon-to-be owner of a Prius! I am selling my Dodge Charger R/T Hemi for a 2008 Black Touring #6. I am really looking forward to not spending $60-$70 at the pumps every time I fill up. Also, this car is a tech-lovers dream! I love all the great features of the car.

I test drove a grey #6, but I would love to see a picture of a Black Touring (#6 if possible).

Do any of you own one? - and if so, would you post a picture? I've seen a few black non-Touring, but I'd like to see what I'm getting. I've looked at pictures online, but they are all computer generated and never look the same in person. Thanks in advance! And I'm looking forward to reading (and asking!) more about my new car in the near future! I've already read quite a few threads and this seems like a really valuable source of information for Prius owners. I can't wait to be an official owner! [IMG]

    Hello and welcome!

I can assure you a Black Touring looks awesome. A quick search revealed these:

This is how the 16" alloys look without the wheel covers. They're gunmetal grey

I owned a 1974 Valiant Charger Hemi 265 (Australian equivalent to Dodge I think) and have always had large powerful cars, because I like the low revs when freeway, country driving and the comfort and space.

Since those years I have always preferred these cars and have recently moved out of my 4 litre Ford Fairmont into my 2007 Silver Prius I-Tech.

And you know what? You won't miss anything. It is so quiet on the open road at 110km/hr that you could almost think your parked. It has almost as much space inside, but more rear legroom and certainly more useable space with the hatch. It gets off the mark quicker than the Ford and has more technology than the aircraft I work on.

I am wrapped and so will you be.

    Happy motoring.

Well said, I couldn't agree more but I have a feeling your signature is broken

Thanks everyone! Those pics look great, I can't wait to see the real thing! I think this weekend I'm going to test drive a few more to make sure the Touring #6 is what I really want/need.

I am sure by now that a non-touring Prius will cost at least a thousand dollars less or probably more. Weigh in your options and then decide. I went right in the middle and settled for package #4.
