Just tell her that she does indeed look fat in her jeans and she was lousy in bed.

that will always shut them up.

I've never forgiven the circus clowns after they said Dumbo was "made of rubber" and he could jump out of a 1000ft tower and not get hurt in Disney's Dumbo movie. They were definitely not Prius-driving clowns in that movie.

Next time she makes a comment like that, give her a blank look, say "Okay," and walk away.

Unless it's something really ridiculous, in which case you say "Wow."

When she married you, she loved everything about you - now she probably loathes anything about you...should have tried reverse psychology and visited her in a Hummer. :p

If your Prius is a clown car, why isn't the 2008 Malibu a clown car also? They both have the same interior room: 96 cubic feet. Not that GM will tell her that, but the EPA website and Edmunds.com will tell her....

It's better to be wearing clown shoes than be in Andy's shoes.

Ask her when her boyfriend buys her implants is she going to have "Andy's breasts" tattooed on them.

Who cares what an ex-wife thinks unless you are planning to remarry her. Unless you are a wife-beater, sooner of later she will be sorry. Unless you have children with her, forget her. She not worth the time spent thinking about it.

Trust me when I say there are many, many good women out there who will love a classy, caring guy who is special enough to drive a Prius.

    I'm right there with you!!

You should ask her if Andy approves of her clown comment. Since she is his "girl" she should get permision from him before talking to you.

When I divorced my first husband, he then showed up in a HUGE, Dodge Ram 1-Ton with Duallies, brand-new.

What made my eyebrow raise just a little was that, the whole time I was married to him, I had to drive junkers. A new vehicle was just not even a possibility.

Oh, and all the stereotypes that you can think of concerning men driving HUGE trucks. Yup. Totally true.

Congrats on being man enough to drive a Prius. :)

It's too bad she doesn't realize that making fun of her children's father is not good for her children.

    WORD.

My DH was a custodial dad when I married him. His number one rule was NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE, would his kids hear from him (or me) a single negative word concerning their mother. (the twins were 11 when I married him, they are 20 now... the youngest 2 of his 4)

His kids have turned out wonderful. They have a good relationship with their mom, and a great one with me, the wicked stepmom (so, how many kids do you know that can truthfully say that their stepmom's a witch?).

DH's brother, alas, also divorced his kids' mom. However, they didn't keep the strife, negative comments, and snide remarks away from their kids' hearing. Their kids did have some serious challenges growing up, did the whole drinking/drugs/jail/rehab thing... now, they are pretty well adults, and are pulling themselves out of it (the rest of the family has been very supportive), but it's pretty easy to see that dragging the kids into it all is a bad idea.

Say: "Come to think of it there were some cute girl clowns hanging around downtown the other day. Maybe I'll find out"

Or better yet get a couple of girl-friends (preferably really cute ones) to dress up as clowns and stop by the x's with them :)
