    . . . or not recognized.

Although I check the box to keep me logged in, I have to re-enter my username and password every time for the past week or so. I thought maybe my machine was deleting the cookies or something, but now the same thing happened from my computer at work.

I have that too, when I come into the home page. I click on the View New Posts option and then it remembers me, so it's no big deal.

Are either of you guys using Firefox?

I found that back when Danny was having cookie conversion issues, deleting the existing Priuschat cookies placed Priuschat on the "accept no cookies from these sites" list. Apparently, Firefox assumes that if you delete the cookies from a site you don't want any from that site anymore. I had to go into the [Exceptions] screen and remove it from the list.

If you're not using Firefox, please don't bother reading the above paragraph.

One thing to check is that you're going to just:

    http://priuschat.com

And not to www.priuschat.com. I had some issues with that a few months back...

I've been having the same problem for several weeks now. I use IE. The problem happens with either www.priuschat.com or http://priuschat.com.

I am also completely unable to login from my home pc.

I just noticed this happening to me the past couple of days, and for a little bit, I thought I was loosing my mind, OK, further loosing my mind. But then I remembered reading in a post that Danny was working with some issues that involved modifying the cookies, and I decided it will probably be a passing thing and not to disturb him while he is busy working ot bring us the best forum possible.

Hmm.. I haven't made any changes recently that should be affecting your ability to log-in. Let me do some poking to see if I find anything.

I use Firefox, on both (gasp) Windows XP and (yea) Linux. I haven't had any trouble with the cookies remembering my login. I only mentioned that I'm not logged in at the home page, but as soon as I click on the forum or view new posts, I get logged in automatically.

I had to re-log in yesterday, but it remembers me fine, including the "view unread" feature in the threads.

I use Firefox 2.0.0.12 on XP. The Firefox 3.2 Beta gives me grief, occasionally, but I don't use it much.

When I run Spybot and Ad Aware, I'll lose the cookies.

Here is an update: Firefox on Windows XP remembers the login at the home page and on the forums. Firefox on Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) remembers the login for the forum but not on the home page. Not that it makes much difference, but maybe someone will want to know.

That could have something to do with the cacheing that I have in place on the front-page. I'll check...
