Opening Nav DVD

    I tried to use the search engine but got 11 pages of threads!!! Simply put, does anyone know how to properly open the nav dvd box under the seat (without breaking anything :eek:) Thanks

    Maybe if you explained what you're trying to accomplish it would be easier to help you. If you're simply trying to eject the DVD that's quite easy. Access it from behind the front seat, open the panel and push eject.
    if you want to access the inside components that's a bit more involved (not a lot).

    Thanks for the reply. I'm just trying to find out which version I have. I tried to open it, pulled on the two "latches" but nothing opened, and I didn't know whether to pull or lift or pull and lift. As stated, I just don't want to break anything.

    I believe you can check on your DVD version via the MFD...but I don't recall the sequence to get to that info.

    You won't break anything, just fiddle a bit and the door will come open.
