Talking & Driving - Should it be illegal?

    Driving and talking on a cellphone in SA is technically illegal. However, I routinely see people driving around with a cellphone to their ear. It's just not enforced....

    Ellen DeGeneres once said that she never uses handsfree phones because if something is sooo important that you need both hands, shouldn't your mind be on it too?

    I'm glad Toyota had the foresight to ad Bluetooth to the Prius. Such a simple addition to ALL cars can make our roads safer and it's not expensive.

    I like the Bluetooth too, but research shows it isn't that much safer. Talking on a cell phone while driving is almost equally dangerous with or without a hands-free device.

    That's true, but with BT at least they have both hands on the steering wheel.
