I am just curious. What type of mileage is everyone in the Forum getting in between fill-up. Not MPG's, but actual miles.

I seem to be averaging 300-330 miles depending on how cold it gets that week. What about you?

My wife went 308, 285 and 340 on her first 3 fill-ups. 6.9, 7.1 and 8.8 gallons respectively. She's just learning how far she can go, looks like she'll be in the 330-360 range during the winter.

Did the dealer straighten out your bladder problem? Do you have your car back yet?

It really depends on the temps but I usually see 300-400 depending on how low I decide to let the tank go. I usually fill right around 2 pips. Right now I am averaging 200-230 miles at the 1/2 tank mark.

Now that it's cold, about 400 miles.

I got the car back on Wed. and everything has been remedied to my satisfaction by the Dealer and Regional Inspector. I am back in business and enjoying the new found confidence in my Prius. :)

I have been filling up at 1 pip left. I don't want to find out what its like to run out of gas in a Prius. ;)

I'm currently at 480 miles with one pip left after a 9.2 gallon fillup. I'll probably fill up on sunday and then figure out the mileage. I haven't been able to put more than 9.2 gallons in the thing yet... so if that holds true, I'll be getting around 53 MPG (which is right in line with what the MFD is stating). Now I do live in Arizona and we've had temps in the mid 70s to low 80's for the past week or so... This is the time of year that I actually like living in this God forsaken desert. LOL!

420 miles, give or take, I have typically been letting it get to two pips.

I have been filling up at 2 pips and getting around 430-450 miles. Now that I am starting to break the 60 MPG barrier, I will probably get more.

This winter with about two pips left, I fill up my tank between 6.4 to 7.2 gallons. My mileage would be around 320 miles. Since I passed the 5K miles on my car, I've noticed that my average mpg has increased above 52 mpg. I am hoping that on my next fill up my miles will be higher.

Awesome numbers! It really is a big advantage, if you live in the warmer regions of our country. Congrats on the high mpg.

Coming up to one year since purchasing my Prius and the average mileage between fill-ups is 400 miles. I've never seen the blinking warning light to fill-up. Highest mileage was 516 and still had 1 bar left.
Good luck with your new (replaced) fuel bladder and please keep us posted.

That is amazing. I am really excited to see what the Summer has in store for me as the temps rise here in MN. It can only go up from here. :)

What part of the East Bay do you live? My Parents live in Danville CA and drive gas guzzling BMW's and Range Rovers. I am trying to convince my Mom to get a Prius for her errands around town.

That sounds great! I have just under 2000 miles on my Prius but I have noticed the slight increase in mileage with time too.

Yes it includes winter mileage (Apr 07 to Mar 08). It helps that my life-time average MPG is 56.2:). Your numbers will improve as the car gets broken in and you master the various techniques.
    Good luck
