    I know tons of people post better numbers but I'm still stoked! I stuck to the back roads which obviously extended the commute time but it was relaxing and really boosted the MPG numbers.

    This was on stock Integritys, 62/60psi, subwoofers and amplifier still hooked up. I coasted a lot but no true P&G stuff.

    Having been a drag racer for so long I can honestly say there is not much difference between pushing for maximum ET/MPH and eeking out the best MPG numbers. The enjoyment is the same. Maximizing MPG does require a bunch more skill IMO though. Not only is it tough to scope out your next move 1/2 a mile of roadway at a time but you have to modify that plan as soon as another driver enters your "zone" so that you do not create a road a hazard with your hypermiling antics. lol

    So True!! Other people, mostly in their great big SUV's, usually with only one occupant, interfering with my attempt to increase my MPG average for a tank!!:D

    As bas as it sounds you guys are totally correct. If not for the people who came flying up on my rear bumper I would have been able to push 60mpg I just know it. There were many times I had to speed up to the max speed limit so I didn't tick them off too much. They would usually pass me anyway and it was back to hypermiling. :rockon:

    The warmer temps helped too. I'm hoping these higher numbers willbe more commong once temps get into the upper 80s-90s.
