First post here at Prius chat. My Prius (actually, my wife's) is what we expected and she is quite pleased. I have 2-3 small questions which I will post individually.
Bluetooth. Worked well the 1st day or two. Yesterday, when we got in the Prius we received the "Bluetooth connection successful" message. Minutes later, when my wife pulled up the Telephone, the display showed "Calling" with a volume indicator at the bottom of the display. Stayed like that the whole time we were in the car. Since that time, we get the eternal "Calling" display the whole time we are in the car regardless how long that is.
As a test, I left my cell at home so only my wife's was in the car. Same problem. Left my wife's cell at home so only my cell was in the car. Same problem. Interestingly, with the Prius in the garage and both cells >25" away, still get the message. How do I resolve this?

What kind of phone are you using (mfr.and model)?
I would delete the device(s) from the prius and the prius from your phone and start over with the "pairing" process again. How did the pairing process go the first time you did it?

    My phone - AT&T Tilt
Deleted Prius device from my cell and all devices from the Prius.
In Prius, added my phone and it was recognized without incident.
Went to 'Telephone and, again, I get the eternal 'calling' display.
If I disable BT on my cell, the message disappears. If I enable BT on my cell the message disappears.
    What have I learned?

Is that what you meant to write?

Your phone if fully compatible with the Prius, except it will not do multiple phonebook entry transfers.
Something simple is wrong. And I think it's a phone setting. There really are no settings on the Prius side, other than Auto-Connect, which I would select.

Did your phone request the key number 1111 for pairing?

    Certainly not! Let's try that again . . .
If I disable BT on my cell, the "Calling" message disappears. If I enable BT on my cell the message REappears,

    >>Did your phone request the key number 1111 for pairing?
    Ummm, kinda . . .
I changed the pairing #, but, yes, I had to enter the pairing # in my cell at the request of Prius. I entered no pairing # into the Prius display.

I have the same issue with my AT&T Tilt in the prius & what I usually end up doing is canceling the call with the on-hook button on the steering wheel & then I do a soft-reset on the phone (poke the stylus in the reset button @ the bottom of the phone). Usually this will clear up any problems, but sometimes the phone itself is a little flaky recently. :nerd:

Have you checked to see which phone is being connected to the Prius? The wife complained to me that her phone wasn't working properly. When I check things out using my phone the system worked. It was only when I used her phone and found it wasn't selected on the Pruis menu that the problem was solved.

I'm starting to wonder if it's an issue with the TILT phone itself. Does your wife use the same phone? If it's a different kind of phone, how does it do? Especially since another TILT user report possible problems....
    Wish I could help more.

Yeah, that's one of the things that stinks about having more than one phone registered in the Prius, you have to manually switch between them. Seems like it would automatically detect whichever one was present in the car, and if more than one is, designate a primary phone.
