How do you do that quote thing, where you put quotes from different people in one reply?

Me too, but I couldn't afford to take it home. :(
Now, I'm in love with a car...

Instead of clicking on the 'reply' or 'quote' buttons, click on the quote marks in the posts you want, and then the reply button. All of the posts that you clicked the quote marks on will now show up for you to edit and respond to. If you're editing people's posts, be sure to leave the brackets intact at each end so that their words show up properly.

To expand on what Hyo said: The quote marks he refers to are in the lower right-hand corner of the post.

If you want to break up one person's post into shorter quoted segments, for commenting separately, copy the bracketed bit at the beginning of the quote, and paste it where you want the beginning of the next chunk, and either copy/past, or merely write ]/quote[ at the end of the quoted material, only reverse the way I've done the brackets here so they enclose the term "/quote". Everything between the opening bracketed command and the end one will appear in its own quote box.

Oops, I stand corrected. I was confusing it with their sense of hearing.

Dogs sense of smell is estimated to be about 100 times greater than human; Cats sense of smell is estimated to be about 14 times greater than human.

Canine Sense of Smell - Dog.com
Cat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cats can hear frequencies up to 64 kHz, 1.6 octaves above a human, about 1 octave above what a Dog can hear.
