You got more than a fair price, you stole it!

Based on what research I have done, that price looks to be well below invoice!

It had to have stickered around 29k with those optiions so, there is no doubt, you stole it at that price.

Heck, you had to have gotten into their holdback!

    niiiiiiiiiiice!:D

Proud new owner of a 08 super white prius, i'm not sure which one i bought, its the one in the middle not the base and not the touring. Just the prius with no packages, out the door price ( including ttl) at msrp 22,475. Pretty happy with the sale. I have read the manual all ready and need to post some pictures in the newb forum.

    Hello Kingrey!

I emailed a bunch of dealers here in southern CA and in Arizona a month ago and the best price came from a family delearship in San Diego. I did this for my dad who actually bought the car for himself. Got a 2008 package 2 for $21,809 before TTL, which was the best price by far. So if you can get it for less, I'd go for it. But first I'd encourage you to go to edmunds.com and use their emailing process to get email quotes from dealers.

Got a 2008 Black Prius with Package #2 and mats for $21700 after quite a bit of bargaining. OTD price is $23700. At Hudson Toyota, NJ. Buying experience was good but avoid saturdays. The place was crowded like a flea market. A quick search at this site really helped with the shopping. What do you think? Is this a good deal?

I just bought a 2008 Prius, Package #6 (NW), Silver Pine Mica for $25,677.

As soon as I got home, I got a call from Russ of Simi Valley Toyota for the same car for $24,878. He only has 3 in stock. That's the lowest price I've seen. It's $1,099 below the dealer invoice. Call him at 805-526-7500! Hurry!

Can I first just say that no matter what price I ended up paying for my new Prius... I absolutely love it!!! It's only been about 10 hours since I left the dealership, and I've already logged close to 200 miles. What fun it is to drive!

Anyway, I decided to fore go the package 2 and upgrade it to package 4 solely for the awesome bluetooth capabilities. My magnetic grey package 4 prius (2008) was $24,298, and about $26,600 OTD.

    Again, I couldn't be happier.

That's just a couple hundred dollars below new price. Did that price include sales tax and licensing?

Thanks Charansr for the price info on Concord Toyota

For anyone in LA/OC who is looking for a touring package 6 but couldn't find a good price locally, you may want to try the follwoing.

Called Gino (internet dept) at Concord Toyota Wednesday, got a quote on a Magnetic Grey Touring pack 6 for 25716, OTD 28164, took an early flight up there this morning, Gino picked me up at Oakland airport, arrived at the dealership 10:30am, he had preped the car the previous night so everything was ready, I was out of there by 11:30am on my way back to LA.

Got alot of practice on the way back, averaged 48.75 MPG first time driving a Prius
Not a bad price on a Grey Touring pack 6 i think

I don't know about the prices in Florida, but a brand new package #2 can be bought for well less than $22K in many areas.

I paid more than that for a 3 year old base model with 61,000km on it here in Australia and I got a good deal at $25,000 OTD. ($23,094.49 USD)
New price is $37,400AU ($34,549.64 USD) plus on road costs and dealer costs.

Actually Charansr paid $316 less than i did, he got a silver, but I want a mag grey so end up paying $316 extra, it is definetly worth to fly up there, the plane ticket only cost $129, the dealer will also take credit card up to 5k, that's another $50 cash back in pocket !
