I do not like the convex mirror that is on the left (drivers) side. At least in The Netherlands, both outside mirrors are rather strong convex.
But is it true that your mirrors are flat? And in the newest models too?
That would be very interesting IF the whole mirror assembly is the same and your US left outside mirrors would fit in my car.
Note. The outside mirrors are luxury versions with heating and electrically adjustable.

Yes, in the US the left driver's side mirror is flat. I believe that the cost of the mirror glass part is around $50 USD.

    Thanks Tom.

I will contact my local dealer to start searching for part numbers and checking if the outside mirror assembly is the same.

    Chris,

Does Dutch law require your driver's side mirror to be convex?

    Hi Tom
I had been thinking on that too, but till now I did not pay attention to it. But I keep that in mind as a replacement seems to be technically possible. But I'm sure that I drive safer and more relaxed with a flat mirror. The only drawback is occasionally move my head a little, but I get a 'real' mirror view in return.

I forgot to report that I'm driving now for some time in my Prius with a flat LH mirror. I could easily order this "MIRROR OUTER, LH" because it was one of a few applicable spare parts and the part number is 87961-52510.

    Thanks to all "contributors".
