I just recently got a Package 5 with "port" leather added. They have the gel technology and ARE perforated. They are really comfortable. Wife says more comfortable than her Lexus seats. I guess that all depends on body size/type/preference. The center arm rest was vinyl capped but NO leather steering wheel or side arm rests front or back. There are also 2 panels in the rear seating area that are not leather/vinyl covered. Good luck!

the prius seats whether leather or fabric are just plain awful. there is no adjustment and if youre over 5-10 you will have to stretch your arms to reach the steering wheel as it does not telescope out. 5 months in the car and the seats are the only complaint i have, but then again my rav4 seats were awful too. i think toyota needs to use a taller person to design comfort for the seats. imho

I talked to the salesperson the other day and he said our car could not have any modifications made to it in Jacksonville. When the car gets you this week there is a shop the dealer uses to install items like leather seats. According to have all the above-mentioned areas will have leather installed except for the steering wheel. If you go to the Prius Chat store you will find an excellent leather we'll wrap for $40 including shipping. I have one on my 2006 previous and love it. It took about two to three hours to install the latest leather cover and it comes in to town as well as a solid color. I personally like the feel of the thicker leather versus the hardness of the stock plastic wheel.

I have a 2003 Honda Accord with leather seats and that car came with a leather wrapped steering wheel. However, the mother was extremely thin and hardly noticeable when I gripped the wheel. I wondered why Honda was so chincy about the steering wheel wrap especially with the extremely comfortable leather seats they put into their EX model.

Our car is supposed to arrive here on the 17th and it will spend one day in the custom shop getting its leather seats. Good luck with your new car. If you are like most of us you will love the car and perhaps later on by a second one like we are.:)
