I took an Alaskan cruise on Celebrity back around '95 or '96 (wow was it really that long ago?). There were 6 of us -- my parents, my brother, my sister, her son who was a toddler at the time, and me. Lots of fun, GREAT fresh seafood, fascinating scenery. I bought a new SLR camera and took a photography course to prepare for the trip, and while there I shot 16 roles of film. I was also impressed by how friendly everyone was.

We took a one-week cruise that started in Vancouver. On-shore excursions included white water rafting and canoeing. We also took a trip on the White Pass & Yukon narrow gauge railroad in Skagway, which was great. After the cruise was over we took a train inland to Denali National Park.

It was a great trip. You will have lots of fun.
