Best HID conversion Kit on Ebay (Cheap less than $80)

    your thoughts on HID conversion kit to be used on foglight. (9006). yes im cheap! it needs to be less than $80. i know i browse on ebay but i need your opinion/experience about those cheapy HID kits out there.

    In life you generally get what you pay for. Buy cheap and you will likely end up having to replace it 18 months later. Food for thought.

    i am enjoying my HID fogs now. i bought not in ebay. but in hidny.com
    they are freaking bright!

    I strongly advise against those cheap ones because of the time, they're not HIDs but just regular high output bulbs. If they do have a ballast, I'd double check that the amperage they pull is correct and won't blow a fuse or set something on fire.

    A good HID kit will run you $400. If you're not prepared to pay that, I would suggest just bright regular bulbs (like Phillips X-Treme Power or Osram Nightbreaker).

    definitely they are HID. they do have a ballast and i checked the amperage before i installed them. and also they are better than philips x-treme and osram. why? running straight for 2hrs and hold the fogs now they are just warm. there is no reason again now to have a broken or crack foglight because of excessive heat.

    Oh?? good to know. Yeah I limit my foglight usage because I'm worried about cracking due to heat (Esp. now that I'm out of warranty)

    and they are warrantied for 12 months.
