Just went up here to $3.49, damn GWB, the root cause of it all.

whew!! now that gas is a bargain at $3.479 i can start driving again!!

We're paying around $3.40/gal for regular (85) in the northwest burbs of Denver. Prices didn't move too much in the past week, but before that there was a lot of movement. Glad to hear the Europeans chime in. So much whinging on here about what we for petrol. It's joke, we have the lowest prices in the OECD. Someone mentioned the tax holiday. What a joke. The $0.184/gal will be a meaningless gesture towards price control while taking away money to repair roads. That's bloody brilliant.

Congrats to Peterborough for their League 2 finish! Good luck in League 1 next season.

 

If a gallon equals about 3.78 litres...I just paid 5.26 euros per gallon!! If I convert euros to dollars, I will just get depressed so I'll let someone else figure that out. I love the Prius, though.

 

San Jose, Ca, no name brand gas is $3.89 regular unleaded

 

The wife an I took off on a road trip two days ago. These are the prices we have seen along the way for the cheapest, unleaded gas:

Fremont, CA (East SF Bay) = $3.89
Chinese Camp, CA (last gas station before Yosemite) = $4.39
South Lake Tahoe, CA = $3.85
Carson City, NV = $3.55
Lee Vining, CA (back side of Yosemite) = $4.49 Wth!!
Bishop, CA = $3.92

I saw $3.97 today at the Shell station @ Sunrise and US 50. I also saw $3.97 at a Unocal in Placerville today. Cheapest station I saw today was Arco at $3.79 at a couple of spots in Carmichael.

 

most stations around here are at 3.99 for 87. there are a few with lower prices.. 3.85 or soo.

We were looking at RVs today because my GF has lost her mind and she thinks that she wants to drive a RV with the dogs back to NY during summer break.

We were the ONLY ones looking at RVs at the three different dealers we went to. I wouldn't want to be a RV dealer.

I'm down to two pips so I will probably be paying > $3.90 tomorrow to fill up.

Petrol jumped a nickel to $3.45/gal regular (85) today.

 

3.57here in Holliston Ma . Went to Ct. where it was 3.75 . One station in town is 3.60. FishHawk

 

Based on some variables:

4(3.78 - but 4 is easier math) litres to the US gallon and a current exchange rate.

The price of regular unleaded (which I use) is at the moment $1.50 / litre in Sydney. That would make it $5.62 US per gallon. High octane and deisel are significantly higher.

I bet that makes you think how cheap you have it. Also your Prius is mid US $20,000 and ours is $46,000 AUD (US$43,999) and it is still a great buy.

For those of you in Europe I apologise, for I know your fuel is more expensive again, however deisel is cheaper.

 

Apologies accepetd but having a cheaper diesel is coming to be history.

Due to higher demands, better refinery (low sulphur) diesel is more expensive in the following countries:
Bulgaria, Croatia, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Slovakia, Czech rep., Romania, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Maybe it was easier to state the countries where it is still cheaper!
