    Couple questions on this-

What is the little rubber button for? I thought you pushed it to lock and unlock the door like on my Infiniti, but 2 Prius owners have said no, you just need to pull the handle and it opens.

I did push the little button yesterday, and it just beeped one long beep at me- and now the keyless doors don't open keylessly.

    What happened???

The button on the door is used to lock the doors. To unlock, simply touch the handle while in possession of the smart key.

By default, touching the driver's door handle will open just that door. Touching the handle of the front passenger door will unlock all doors. The rear passenger door handles do not have keyless entry sensors, and thus cannot be used to unlock the car. The rear hatch also has a sensor, which will unlock all doors.

First you must have the fob on you or near the outside of the doors.

The buttons on the front doors and hatch are used to lock the doors only.

There is a touch pad on the inside of the front doors that will unlock the door. You just have to touch the inside of the handle to unlock.

The rear hatch has a rubber pad that you push up to unlock.

OK...but now with the key fob in my pocket, the driver's and passenger door still don't open when you pull the handle. Any clue what the problem might be?

Dead battery in the key fob? Either that or you pressed the "disable SKS" button above the driver's footwell.

There's a handy book that is available which explains all of these details.

That would be the one you can buy new for twenty-something thousand dollars US and it comes wrapped in a free Prius?
