honestly my cam is not that good, and i lost a piece to my tripod, so its hard to take stills at night...ill see what i can do

you need to go to a specialty "tuner" shop or somewhere online to buy the LED lights

i forgot to do the ones under the door tho

and i did not find an LED for the light in the trunk, so i used an aftermarket, cool blue light bulb, the closest match i can find to the "white" led all thru out the car

here is a listing of the bulbs:

I have a 2008 prius with the touring pkg. My question is, has anyone
used the BT plate on this model? Becase of the great handling and ride,
does it make a difference? Thanks for any info, Nick.

IMO I could tell the difference between my 04 without the BT plate and my 07 that I added the plate. I have not hear of anyone claiming Toyota improving the factory plate in 08.

I just recently picked up my BLACK 08...I was thinking about debadging but I wasn't sure how the black paint would handle it. Black is more susceptible to paint fade...Anybody have any input on whether I should worry about this? I have only owned the car for 2 months, but I am curios how long it has sat in the sun since it was built.

I had a black 2004 Prius. Over time it got scuff marks, parking lot dings, etc. I did not know the body side molds were available. The Toyota dealer said they were not.

I tried to compound the scuff marks out. That was not a good idea. Then dull spots and swirl scratches showed caused by the compound. I then took the car to a shop to get done by I thought, a professional. It looked good for a day or two, then I guess the polish wore off and the dull spots returned. I think I will just live with my badges.

Go to ANY home improvement store. Buy a 2 inch steel plate. Drill two holes. BAM instant cheap cross member. And it costs 5 dollars. Spray some black paint on if you want.

I picked up my 08 Prius (Barcelona Red with Option Package #3) last Monday. What a great car. I have installed a hood over the MFD (multi-function display). I bought it on Ebay for $26.99 from Prius Hoods. A very quality product which looks great and keeps the sun glare off of the display. I also installed Toyota mud guards. I bought them new from a Toyota dealer on Ebay for $35.00. It took less than an hour to install them.

i have a touring edition and adding these items IMO will only make it handle much better

if budget is not an issue ... go touring :)

cool, thanks for your response. my fear was the aftermarket items would not complement the touring, but now i know that i can have both! :)
