Great to hear that you are enjoying your Prius. Can you post some pics?

The temp. is getting warmer, so my mpg is in the low 50's now.

I've had him now almost 3 weeks. Great car and best decision I ever made!

    Linda,

Nice pics! Charlie looks great! Today, I decided to take the Prius to work because she won the toss over my motorcycle. :D Tomorrow, I'll probably ride my bike to work this time.

Enjoy your new ride. How is your mpg so far?

I'm getting close to 50 mpg (and that's mostly highway driving). I poke a little fun at my husband because everytime he drives it the mpg goes down a bit and I have to work to bring it back up! Even with that I can't seem to get it over 50. I'll have to read the forum to learn how to better drive to get the better mileage.

Right now we use my car whenever we go out and he just uses his car going back and forth to work. Even with that, I'm going almost a week between fill-ups. That's a very big difference from before, when I swear I was going about 3 days before stopping for gas. :D

Your husband is probably thinking about getting himself his own Prius. 50 mpg on your end is not too far away. My last tank has averaged 52 mpg on the display, so the warmer the weather the better. Lately, I've been on my motorcycle going to and from work,,,giving my Prius a much needed rest.:D

Hi Runner, Where in Carbon Co. are you? I'm nearby in Pocono Pines. We own The Junction Ice Cream on Rt. 940 if your familiar with it. After April 1 we'll be ope, stop by and I'll treat you to an ice cream. If you see a Seaside Pearl Prius parked in back you'll know I'm there.

I know this is an old thread.. but wow.. Pocono Pines. I stayed at my cousins house up there this past winter. Right off lake Naomi!

I was up there in the DEAD of winter.. I couldn't believe it, but the Prius handled the terrain waaay better than expected! There was a solid 5 inches of snow on the ground (I even made it up the hills to park at Camelback - which I was really scared I was going to get stuck on!).

Next time I'm up there I'll have to give you some business! I'll make sure I tell me cousins/family about your place!
