I love the Tango but am not sure how to post pic. Very fast and electic. What makes me smile is the VW "Thing" and the AMC "Pacer".

I know this is off topic, but "Get Smart" made me think of it. I was at the movies last night to see "Nim's Island" with my son (good movie) and I saw a preview for a NEW INDIANA JONES MOVIE!! OMG!! I LOVE Indiana Jones!! EEEEK!!! :jaw:I almost threw my bra. My first crush was Hans Solo. I guess I'm a total geek, but I don't care...

I just loved the Indiana Jones movies. That girl in the classroom with "Love you" on her eyelids - I could totally relate. I can't believe there is a NEW one. I saw the long preview. It looks awesome... I have all the Indiana Jones movies on Video and DVD; they are excellent films. Lust aside - excellent movies.

Okay. Sorry for the deviation. Back to the cars...

Uhh, have you considered switching to the 3M clear protective film?
Some posters say that it easily conforms to even tightly radiused surfaces?:brick:

My choice would be a 1981 Celica GT which was the first car I owned.

My mechanic that works on my cars has one of these. He works on a lot of old odd cars and he has a pretty good collection of micro cars including 4 or 5 Isetta. Everytime i am up there I have to go in his back storage area it is like a museum there could be amphibicars, Sunbeams, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, old jaguars, austin healeys, MGs he always has at least 1 MG and triumphs too, Aston Martins, Lotus etc. He can work on just about older car. What surprises me is how many of thes odd and exotic cars are in this area.

This was built by Messerschmitt in the late 50's and early 60's. Pretty cool little car. instead of a steering wheel it has what looks more like a yoke from an airplane.

I think the Aptera's my new favourite, too. Or maybe the Lotus Exige. Not that I'm likely to ever ride in either one of them, much less own one...

Before Corvettes began breathing fire, they could barely peel rubber.

I recall reading that the Corvette was meant to be a domestic challenger to
the British sports cars, MGs, Healeys, etc, that returning servicemen brought
    back from "over there."

Just for the record, do you know how many horse pressures that baby blue
    cutie has?

My daily driver makes me smile every time I drive it. Sometimes I'm in a sour mood when I set out, but the first person who smiles or waves at me brings back the smile. Sometimes it's not until the third or fourth person I pass that I get a reaction, now that my car is known to so many of the locals. But there's one kid who always waves and shouts and gives me the hi-sign every time I drive by him. People seem to love my car, and I do too, and it really puts a smile on my face. What's funny is that some folks here on PriusChat have posted about negative reactions to the Prius from other drivers. I get positive reactions to my Xebra from 99% of the people who react at all.

My original concept of "make you smile" was a whimsical, isn't-that-neat
    smile, probably tinged with nostalgia.

But I accept that "different strokes for different folks" includes different
    reasons for smiling.

Here's a vehicle that, at least in the current gas price environment brings an
    I-wonder-if-this-thing-ever-gets-out-of-the-garage twisted smile and perplexed
    shake of the head:
