I don't think blue whales eat fish. I think they are sort of filter feeders and live on krill. But to the question "What do you do with a blue whale?," I don't do anything with a blue whale. If I saw one I'd keep a respectful distance and enjoy the sight. If I had an underwater camera with me, I'd take a picture and post it here on PC. Except that underwater pictures generally don't turn out well at the distance I'd want to be from it. Melville makes mention of the blue whale, but I think he was skeptical of its actual existence. He also insisted the whale is just an air-breathing fish. But nowadays you can't even call a starfish a "fish" anymore. It's a "sea star." But I say, who're you gonna believe: Merriam Webster or Herman Melville?

Yes, but it's bad form (though not by any means prohibited) to take one of these silly threads so far off topic. Serious discussions have to have leeway to stray from the topic. But this thread is on the silly topic of trivia and it would be better to start a puns thread than to take the trivia thread off onto puns.

Aw, come on Sam. Mark Twain was not a punster. (I have no idea what the answer is. But rather than guessing humorists at random, you need to come up with someone who lived and breathed puns, since it's clearly a quote of someone deeply devoted to them.)
