fuse for 2002 prius

If the owner's manual is available, it will tell you which fused line powers the display. Unfortunately I do not have that info here.

Another possibility is that you inadvertently pushed the 'screen-off' button sequence. To undo that, you would press 'display' and then the onscreen 'screen transition' button. That's the way I remember. Someone with Prius-access please help out.

Assuming that you are referring to the MFD (the touchscreen in the middle of the instrument panel), check the 10A ACC fuse and the 15A DOME fuse. These fuses also power the radio, so if the radio is working then those fuses are not the problem.

Also check the 5A ECU-IG fuse.

It doesn't sound like the issue is a burnt out fuse since buttons appear on the MFD. I've attached a TSB that potentially might relate to your problem. If not, then I suggest you seek dealer help for your problem.

Hi Chuck,

Michelle Vadeboncoeur and I have maintained a reasonably complete list of TSBs on the Yahoo interest group, toyota-prius-sat1, in the group files. You must be a member of that group to access the files. PriusChat has a forum that contains some TSBs, but the forum structure does not allow easy and neat storage of the files.

The official source for repair manuals, TSBs and other technical information is techinfo.toyota.com which is a subscription website.

Another thought: if this were my car, I would try removing the wiring harness connectors to the MFD and reinstall. Perhaps an intermittent or dirty connection is causing your problem. If this is out of the question for you to do yourself, then let the dealer mechanic help you.
