Loaded a collapsible bed frame and I pushed in between the front seats and somehow I smashed it into the touchscreen display unit in my dash. How would I go about replacing it? I'm sure the warranty doesn't cover me breaking it. :( The screen lights up still but it doesn't register me pressing on it. The cracks look like a spiderweb. Help! :(

If you get one off of Ebay, make sure it is a Navigation screen, since you have Package 6. Also, depending on your deductible, you could make a claim on your insurance and get a new or certified one from the dealer.

Sorry to laugh at your misfortune but this made me lol.
Unless you know how to replace the screen yourself, and that's if you can find the correct screen on ebay, this may be your only option. Gool luck.

Get a dealer quote using a certified used/refurbished screen, then decide if you want to make the insurance claim.

Also sorry to hear about the damage. Depending on your deductible from your insurance, purchasing one as refurbished may be the best option. I don't have any idea how much those touch screens cost.

Ah, good, I was just going to say that if you're already in touch
with priuschat, there may be a couple of members with extra
MFDs kicking around in stock. There's also Autobeyours to ask.

Open your hood and make sure the hose isn't being pinched when the hood is closed. If the nozzles were a little clogged you'd get some spray. If you're getting nothing the hose is pinched or you're out of fluid.

That should be covered under comprehensive, usually $100 deductible. It's an honest mistake, you shouldn't be tagged for it.

You might want to read the excellent dashboard/stereo accessory removal guide. IIRC it was written by Chris Dragon. It would give you an idea of whether doing it yourself would be beneficial. This is especially true if the dealer wants too much for the part. In the process of doing this, you can also learn quite a bit about your car.

It is probably safe to say that a bunch of hardware geeks would like to get their hands on the broken unit, just to hack around....
