After 1 failed attempt to install it at 7PM, and a pierced finger with screw driver, the next day I finally installed the deflector on. Here are some pictures on how it looks... sorry for picture quality, its phone cam.

Since you posted this as a public thread, I assume you want viewers and feedback.
Sorry, mines not positive. The deflector doesn't look good. It makes the rest of the hood look sun faded. I know that's a matter of the Mag Grey color difference, but then the deflector should be Mag Gray too.
Why not go with the invisible solution?

    I think it looks cool.
What's the invisible solution? That $500 clear crap?
    No thanks.

It won't stop a brick, but the function to protect the Aluminum hood for regular sand blast is all that matter.... :)

Be nice... Most people are more concerned with those little rock chips that you WILL get on the highway. I've got two friends with M5s and the clear stuff. The precut stuff is no protection against rocks, but the spray on stuff is awesome. Only the spary on stuff cost about $1500. If you've got cash like that, go for it. I'd rather save for a plug-in. My Prius is just a hold over until someone makes a good PHEV. (Looks like i'm already ahead of someone)
